没想到利老师在创造营的事迹，已经火遍全球了。国外媒体都报道了，不愧是娱乐圈「顶流」ヽ(✿ﾟ▽ﾟ)ノ
机智的网友还整理了「利路修语录」，不可不谓是醍醐灌顶！
boyband: a pop music group made up of young men who sing and dance
一些比较古早的男子组合，比如西城男孩 (Westlife)、后街男孩 (Backstreet Boys)，都叫 boyband。
Six Tone 用的是 Chinese Talent Show，或者 Chinese reality (TV) show
再来看一下，卫报是如何介绍创造营 2021 ？
The programme concept pits young performers against each other to train and eventually form an 11-member international boyband, chosen by a voting public.
chosen by a voting public 由全民投票选出
an 11-member international boyband 由11位选手组成的国际男团
pit sb against sb: 竞争/较量，等于 compete against
利老师原本只是两个日本选手的中文老师，节目组看他长得还 (hen) 可 (bu) 以 (cuo)，问他想不想尝试新的生活？
Producers noticed his good looks and ask if he’d like to try a new life?
利老师一时兴起就答应了。卫报介绍说 He joined the competition show on a whim.
on a whim 就是指冲动之下、心血来潮、一时之间的想法。
We decided, more or less on a whim, to sail to Morocco. 我们多少有点心血来潮，决定航海去摩洛哥。（柯林斯高阶英汉双解学习词典）
因为喜欢看《叛逆的鲁鲁修》 (Lelouch of the Rebellion)，利老师随便给自己取了个艺名叫利路修 (Lelush)
两篇文章在介绍利老师时，是这么说的：
Vladislav Sidorov used the stage name Lelush.
A aspiring fashion designer Vladislav Sidorov, aka Lelush
stage name 就是指艺名；aka 是 as known as 的缩写，意思是“又叫做/又称为”
于是，利老师离开了自己的普通生活，搬到了大岛的宿舍里。
He was soon uprooted from his normal life and transplanted into a dormitory in Hainan province.
uproot: 原意是指连根拔起，比如 uprooted trees 被连根拔起的树
引申义是指「一个人离开自己的家或熟悉的环境」
transplant: 原意是指移植，比如移植心脏、肾脏等器官 transplant organs such as hearts and kidneys
这里也是引申义，表示「搬到/迁到某地」
这两个词汇很形象，感觉利老师确实做了个艰难决定。我们积累下来，以后就不必老用 leave，move 了~
文章还说，利老师在接受了节目组的邀请后，他的噩梦就开始了
Sidorov’s reluctant acceptance of this offer marked the beginning of his nightmare
mark 在这里就是指「标志着/意味着」
That programme received critical acclaim and marked a turning point in Sonita's career.
那个项目赢得了评论界的好评，成为索尼塔事业的转折点。

利老师初舞台唱了首很不走心的 Jackpot，想着自己可以赶紧被淘汰，没想到一炮而红…
两篇文章在形容利老师的首秀时，都用了 half-hearted 一词。
half-hearted 是指那种「有点颓丧、没有热情、冷淡敷衍」的感觉，来形容利老师可以说非常贴切了
a half-hearted apology 不走心/不诚恳的道歉
Sixtone 还用 morose 和 dirgelike ，来形容利老师初舞台和决赛演唱：
For his first performance, Sidorov sang “Jackpot,” a morose Russian rap about the hardships of life and the importance of home.
He did the same dirgelike rap from his first performance.
Morose 是指「有点忧郁、孤僻、沉默寡言」的感觉，同义词 gloomy
She just sat there looking morose.
她就那样阴郁地坐在那儿。

Dirge-like 是指听起来「有点忧郁悲伤的歌」
A dirge is a slow, sad song or piece of music.
描述利老师那种忧郁颓丧、与众不同的气质时，卫报是这样介绍的：
A fanbase which had taken to his grumpy, anti-celebrity persona.
grumpy 和上文中的 morose 含义相似，就是「郁郁寡欢、沉默寡言、不太好惹」的感觉。
卫报后文提到，利老师在得知自己进了决赛后，对着镜头气呼呼地嗦了一大口柠檬，用了 grumpy 的副词形式：
After making it to the final, Ivanov grumpily ate a lemon on camera.
anti-celebrity: 就是指和偶像圈子反着来。利老师可以说是内娱反内卷第一人了~╰(*°▽°*)╯
take to: 就是喜欢的意思，等于 like，尤指短时间就喜欢上。
利老师一直希望自己可以被淘汰，希望粉丝不要给他投票。卫报是这样介绍的：
He expected to be voted off.
He was eventually voted out in the final episode, which aired on Saturday.
vote off / vote out 原本用在政治领域，表示「 投票罢免某人的职务/让某人下台」
这里引申借用，可理解为「不给他投票/让他淘汰出局」
利老师越想离开，粉丝就越要给他撑腰 ≡ω≡
The more Sidorov wanted to leave the show, the more his growing legion of fans voted for him
利老师的粉丝自称「 笋丝」，我们来看看怎么用英文介绍笋丝？
Sunsi, which means “shredded bamboo shoots” and is also a homophone for “mean fans”.
流行语一般都是 newly-coined word，译成英文时，可以先直接给出中文拼音，用英文直译一遍，然后再把实际意思翻出来。
以后英文中需要引入这类新词，都可以借鉴这个格式~ヽ(✿ﾟ▽ﾟ)ノ
这段话中的 homophone 是指发音相同，但是字形和含义不同的词。其实可以直接理解为“谐音”的意思，“笋”是“损”的谐音。
再举个栗子 。卫报中介绍 996 的概念，就是用的上述方法解释：
996, in reference to China’s digital industry culture of chronic overwork - 9am to 9pm, six days a week.
